Your email address is both your login and a key way we contact you about your Lili account. You can update it from the Lili app or web app, as long as your account has been open for more than 30 days.
If you are able to sign in to your account
You can change the email you use to sign in and receive Lili communications by following these steps:
Web app
- Sign in to your Lili account from a browser.
- Go to Profile > Account Settings.
- Next to your email, click Edit.
- Enter your new email address and follow the on‑screen instructions to confirm the change.
Mobile app
- Open the Lili app.
- Go to Main Menu > Settings > Contact Details.
- Tap the pencil icon next to your email.
- Enter your new email address and follow the on‑screen instructions.
After you update your email, you’ll use your new email address to sign in to Lili and to receive account‑related emails from us.
If you can’t sign in or no longer have access to your old email
If you’ve lost access to the email currently on your Lili account and can’t sign in or complete the in‑app steps, we’ll need to help you update your email securely.
In that case:
- Contact the Lili team from the app (if you’re still signed in on a device) :
- In the Web App: Choose “Chat” upon clicking on the "?" icon at the bottom-right ;
On the Mobile App: Select “Chat with us” on the menu. - Send a message to our team.
- In the Web App: Choose “Chat” upon clicking on the "?" icon at the bottom-right ;

Be ready to provide information that helps us verify your identity (for example, your full name, email on file, and other account details) before we can update your email. This is to protect your account from unauthorized changes.
30‑day restriction on changing your email
For security and fraud‑prevention reasons, your email address can’t be changed during the first 30 days after your Lili account is opened.
If you realize you entered the wrong email address when you signed up or you have an urgent issue during this initial period, please reach out to the Lili team using the methods above so we can review your specific situation and advise on next steps.
Notes for owners and team members
If you’ve invited team members or your accountant to access your account using Roles & Permissions, each person should:
- Use their own login email and password (logins should not be shared).
- Update their own email if they need to change how they sign in or receive notifications.
Changing your own email only updates your Lili login and contact email; it does not change email addresses for other users on the account.
