What is the Clients tab in the Lili Accountant Portal?

The Clients tab shows the business accounts where you currently have accountant access. These are businesses that:

  • Opened a Lili account through you, and
  • Have explicitly granted you accountant access from within their Lili business account.

This is different from the Referrals tab:

  • Referrals = everyone you’ve invited and their application status.
  • Clients = only the businesses you can actively work with inside Lili today.

What information do I see in the Clients tab?

In the Clients tab you will typically see:

  • Business Name – The business name on the Lili account.
  • Primary Owner – The main owner’s name.
  • Latest Statement – A download icon to get the most recent statement.
  • Actions – A shortcut (such as an “open” icon) to view the client’s dashboard in read‑only mode.

You can use the search bar at the top of the tab to quickly find a specific client by business name or contact name.

What can I do from the Clients tab?

From this tab you can:

  • Open a client’s dashboard (view‑only)
    • Use the action icon to open the client’s Lili dashboard in a read‑only accountant view.
    • You can see transactions and key account information but cannot move money or manage cards.
  • Download client statements
    • Click the icon in the Latest Statement column to download the most recent available monthly statement for that client.
    • Use Download statements to download the latest statements for all of your clients at once.

Why is a client I referred not showing here?

A referred business will appear in Clients only when:

  1. Their Lili business account is approved and open, and
  2. The business owner has granted you accountant access from their Lili account.

If you don’t see a specific business:

  • Check the Referrals tab to confirm their application status.
  • Ask your client to grant you access from the Team section in their Lili business app.
  • If they already granted access and the business still doesn’t show, contact Lili support for help.
