How do I view a client’s dashboard and download their statements?

Once a client has granted you accountant access and you’ve accepted the email invitation, you can view their Lili dashboard and download statements directly from the Clients tab in the Accountant Portal.

You’ll have read-only access, which means you can review data and export documents but cannot move money or change account settings.

Step 1: Go to the Clients tab

  1. Sign in to your Lili Accountant Portal account.
  2. From the top navigation, open the Clients tab.
  3. Use the search bar if needed to find the specific client by business name or contact name.

If you don’t see a business here, either their account is not yet active or they haven’t completed granting you access.
 

Step 2: Open a client’s dashboard (view-only)

  1. In the Clients table, locate the client you want to review.
  2. In the Actions column, click the icon or link to open the client’s account.
  3. A new window or tab opens with a read-only accountant view of the client’s Lili dashboard.

From this view, you can:

  • See recent transactions, bills and invoices. 
  • Review categorized activity and account details that are relevant for bookkeeping and taxes.
  • Download statements and reports. 

You will not be able to send payments, move funds, manage cards, or change their account settings.

Step 3: Download a single client’s statement

To download the latest statement for one client:

  1. Go back to the Clients tab in your Accountant Portal.
  2. Find the client in the table.
  3. In the Latest Statement column, click the download icon.
  4. The most recent available monthly statement will download as a PDF to your device.

You can then share, store, or upload this PDF into your accounting or tax software as needed.

Step 4: Download statements for all clients at once

If you want to download the latest statement for all clients:

  1. On the Clients tab, look for the Download statements action. 
  2. Click Download statements.
  3. Lili will prepare the most recent monthly statement for each of your clients and download them together in a single ZIP file.
  4. Each PDF statement in the ZIP will include the business name in the file name, so you can easily identify which statement belongs to which client.

This is especially useful at month-end or during tax season when you need to quickly gather documents for all your clients.

Why can’t I see a client or their statements?

If you’re unable to open a client’s dashboard or download statements:

  • Confirm that the client’s Lili business account is approved and active.
  • Make sure the client has granted you accountant access and you have clicked the link in your email invitation to accept.

If everything looks correct and you still don’t see the client or their statements, contact Lili Support for additional help.
