Yes. From the Referrals tab in the Lili Accountant Portal, you can resend an invitation email, cancel an existing invitation, or copy the invite link for a specific client.
How do I resend a client invitation?
Resending an invite is helpful if your client can’t find the original email or if the link has expired.
To resend an invitation:
- Sign in to the Lili Accountant Portal.
- Go to the Referrals tab.
- Find the client you want to re-invite (use the search box to look up their name or email if needed).
- In that row, open the actions menu (three dots).
- Click Resend invite.
If the resend is successful, a new invitation email will be sent to your client, and the referral’s “invited” timestamp and status will update as needed (for example, from Invite expired back to Invited).
You may not be able to resend an invite if:
- The client has already completed their application.
- The application has been approved or declined.
In those cases, Resend invite will not appear.
How do I cancel a client invitation?
Cancelling an invite stops a client from using that invitation link to apply and clearly marks the referral as no longer active.
To cancel an invitation:
- Sign in to the Lili Accountant Portal.
- Open the Referrals tab.
- Find the referral you want to cancel.
- In that row, open the actions menu (three dots).
- Click Cancel invite.
- Confirm the action when prompted.
After you cancel:
- The invitation link associated with that referral will no longer work.
- The referral’s status will change to Cancelled.
- You will be able to resend that same invite.
How do I copy the invite URL for a client?
If you want to send the invite link to your client through your own email or messaging tool, you can copy the invite URL:
- Sign in to the Lili Accountant Portal.
- Go to the Referrals tab.
- Find the relevant referral.
- Open the actions menu (three dots) for that row.
- Click Copy invite URL.
The invite link will be copied to your clipboard so you can paste it into your own email, chat, or portal. The link behaves the same as the one in the original Lili invite email.
When should I resend, cancel, or copy the invite URL?
- Resend invite
- Use this when your client can’t find the original email or the link expired, and you want Lili to send a fresh invitation email.
- Cancel invite
- Use this when you no longer want this invitation to be valid (wrong client, wrong email, or you changed your mind).
- Copy invite URL
- Use this when you prefer to send the invite through your own channels (for example, from your firm’s email address or client portal) while still using the tracked invite link.
