How do I switch between my Lili business account and the Accountant Portal?

If you use Lili both as a business owner and as an accountant, you can access your Lili business account and the Accountant Portal with the same login. You can switch between them directly from the Lili web app without signing out.

Before you start

You’ll be able to switch between workspaces if:

  • Your Lili business account and your Accountant Portal profile are set up under the same email address.
  • Your Accountant Portal has been activated by Lili or via the accountant onboarding flow.

If you don’t see both options when following the steps below, see the “Troubleshooting” section.

Switch from your Lili business account to the Accountant Portal

  1. Sign in to the Lili web app with your usual email and password.
  2. In the top-left corner, click your profile.
  3. In the dropdown menu, look for the Accountant Portal.
  4. Click that option to switch into your Accountant Portal workspace.

After switching, you’ll see accountant-specific navigation such as ClientsReferrals, and firm/accountant settings instead of your usual business banking menus.

Switch from the Accountant Portal back to your Lili business account

  1. While you’re in the Accountant Portal, go to the top-right account switcher.
  2. Click your profile to open the dropdown.
  3. Select Banking Dashboard from the list.
  4. The web app will reload into your regular business banking experience.

This makes it easy to move between managing your own business finances and supporting your clients, all from the same login.

Troubleshooting: I don’t see the option I need

If something seems missing:

  • You only see your Lili business account, not the Accountant Portal:
    • Your accountant profile may not be created yet, or it may be linked to a different email.
    • If you recently signed up for the Accountant Portal, it may still be in the process of activation.
  • You only see the Accountant Portal, not your business account:
    • Your business account might be under a different email address.

If you believe you should have access to both, contact Lili Support so they can review your user setup and help link the correct accounts.
