How can we help?

How can I track the status of my accountant referrals?

You can track the status of every client you invite to Lili from the Referrals tab in the Lili Accountant Portal. This page shows all of your invitations and applications in one place, along with their current status.

Where do I see my referrals?

  1. Sign in to the Lili Accountant Portal.
  2. Make sure the Referrals tab is selected.
  3. You’ll see a table listing your referrals with columns such as:
    • Business Name
    • Primary Owner
    • Email
    • Status

You can use the search box at the top of the table to find a specific client by name or email.

What do the referral statuses mean?

Each referral moves through a series of statuses as your client progresses through the application process. You may see:

  • Invited – You sent an email invitation, but your client has not started their application yet.
  • In progress – Your client opened the application link and has started filling it out, but has not submitted it.
  • Submitted – Your client has submitted their application and Lili is reviewing it.
  • Approved – Your client’s application has been approved and the Lili business account is open.
  • Declined – Your client’s application was declined.
  • Invite expired – The invitation link was not used within the allowed time and has expired.
  • Cancelled – You cancelled the invitation from the Referrals tab, and the link is no longer valid.

How do referrals get added to this list?

Referrals appear in your list when you send an Invite by email from the Accountant Portal and the client applies using a link that is associated with you.

Each referral is automatically tied to your accountant profile so you can see its progress without manual tracking.

Can I see which referrals became active clients?

Yes. When a referral reaches Approved, it means the client’s Lili business account has been opened.

If the business owner later grants you accountant access from their Lili account, that business will also appear in your Clients tab, where you can:

  • Open a read-only view of their dashboard
  • Download their latest account statement

The Referrals tab shows the history of how they entered Lili; the Clients tab shows the accounts where you currently have access.
