You can access your Lili account in two ways:
- Through the Lili web app in a desktop, laptop, or tablet browser
- Through the Lili mobile app on a supported iOS or Android phone
In both cases, you’ll sign in with the email address and password you set during the application process and may be asked to complete a verification step (two‑factor authentication, or 2FA) for security.
Accessing your account from the web
To sign in from a browser:
- Open a supported browser on your desktop, laptop, or tablet.
- Go to the Lili web app (using your usual Lili login URL).
- Enter the email address and password associated with your Lili account.
- If prompted, enter the verification code sent to your mobile phone to complete 2FA.
The verification code helps confirm it’s really you, especially when signing in from a new device or new location, and is an important part of keeping your account secure.
Accessing your account from the mobile app
To sign in from the Lili mobile app:
- Download the Lili – Small Business Finances app from the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) on a supported device.
- Open the app and enter the email address and password you use for Lili.
- If prompted, enter the verification code sent to your mobile phone to complete 2FA.
For the best experience, make sure your device’s operating system and the Lili app are both up to date with the latest versions.
Two‑factor authentication (2FA) and new devices
When you sign in for the first time, from a new device, or from an unusual location, Lili may send a one‑time verification code to your mobile phone by text message. You’ll need to enter this code to complete your login.
This extra step is designed to help protect your account from unauthorized access, even if someone learns your password.
If you can’t access your account
If you’re having trouble signing in because you:
- Forgot your password, or
- No longer have access to the phone number on file for receiving verification codes
Please see What should I do if I forgot my password or if I want to change it? or contact the Lili team from the app (if you’re still logged in on another device) or via the Help Center (see: How do I contact the Lili team?) so we can help restore access securely.
For owners, team members, and accountants
If you’ve invited team members or your accountant to access your Lili account using Roles & Permissions, each person should:
- Use their own login credentials (email and password), not share yours.
- Sign in via the web app or mobile app using the steps above.
Depending on their role and permissions, they may see one or more Lili accounts associated with their login and can switch between them as needed.
