Your phone number is an important part of your account security and may be used for verification codes and alerts. If you change your phone number, we’ll need to update it on your Lili profile so we can keep your account secure.
If you still have access to your old phone number
If you can still receive calls or texts at the phone number currently on file with Lili, the fastest way to update your number is to contact us from your logged‑in account:
- Open the Lili app.
- In Web App:
- Go to Menu > Click on the dropdown next to your Profile > Account Settings.
- Click on the Edit button to the right of the phone number and follow the instructions.
In the Mobile App:
- Navigate to Main Menu > Settings > Contact Details
- Tap on the pencil icon to the right of the phone number and follow the instructions.
If you no longer have access to your old phone number
If you’ve lost access to the phone number on file (for example, you changed carriers or lost your device) and can’t receive verification codes, we’ll need to verify your identity another way before we can update your number.
In that case:
- Contact the Lili team (see: How do I contact the Lili team?), using the contact details listed there.
- In your request, include:
- Your full name and email address on file with Lili.
- Your date of birth and business name (if applicable).
- A brief description of the situation (for example, “lost phone, no access to old number”).
Our team may ask you to provide additional documentation or complete extra verification steps (for example, ID verification) in line with our security policies before we can update your phone number and restore full access.
If you’re completely locked out and can’t sign in or receive any codes, please mention this clearly in your request so we can route it as an access restoration case.
After we update your phone number
Once your phone number has been updated:
- Your new number will be used for verification codes (where applicable) and security alerts going forward.
- You may be asked to sign in again or complete new verification steps the next time you access your account from a device.
If you notice any phone number or contact information on your account that you do not recognize, please contact the Lili team immediately through the app or via the Help Center so we can secure your account.
