How can we help?

How do I freeze my card?

If any of your Lili cards are missing, or you see activity you don’t recognize, you can freeze that card instantly from the Lili app or web experience. Freezing a card stops new card transactions while you investigate, and works the same way for both your Lili debit card and your BusinessBuild Card.

What happens when I freeze a card?

When you freeze a card (debit or BusinessBuild):

  • New purchases, ATM withdrawals, and other card transactions on that card will be declined.
  • Your underlying Lili account stays open; transfers, deposits, and other non‑card activity can continue as usual.
  • You can unfreeze the card at any time if you find it and are confident it hasn’t been compromised.

If you confirm that a card is lost or stolen, you should order a replacement card rather than leaving it permanently frozen.

How to freeze or unfreeze a card (mobile and web)

The workflow is very similar on mobile and web.

  1. Sign in to your Lili account (mobile app or web).
  2. Go to Cards from the main navigation or menu.
  3. Select the specific card you want to manage (for example, Lili Debit Card or BusinessBuild Card).
  4. On the card details screen, select Freeze card.
  5. Confirm when prompted to complete the action.

To use the card again later, return to Cards, open the same card, select Unfreeze card, and confirm. You’ll always see the current status on the card screen, so you know whether that card is frozen or active.

If your card is lost, stolen, or there’s suspicious activity

Freezing the card is an important first step, but not the only one.

  • If you don’t recognize a transaction, freeze the relevant card immediately and review your recent activity on the Transactions page.
  • If you confirm your card is lost or stolen, order a new card (debit or BusinessBuild) from Cards using Order new card.
  • If you see clear signs of fraud, follow the steps in our fraud and dispute articles or contact Lili support right away.

These steps help protect your business funds and, for BusinessBuild, your business credit profile.
