Once your Lili Visa® Debit Card arrives, you can activate it in just a few steps from the app or the web. After activation, you’ll set your PIN and your card will be ready to use.
Note: If you have a BusinessBuild card, its activation and usage may follow different terms than the standard Lili Visa® Debit Card. If you’re not sure which card you have or how to activate it, reach out to Lili Support from the app and we’ll guide you.
Web App:
- Go to the Main Menu and click on "Cards"
- Choose the Debit Card tab to activate the physical card
Mobile App:
There are two ways to activate the Lili card:
- Open your Lili app and tap "Activate your Card" in the Card Tracker located in the Banking tab
- Go to the Main Menu > Cards > Debit Card tab, and tap on the button "Activate Physical Card"
You’ll need your card’s expiration date and the last four digits of your card number (on the back of the card). Once your card is activated, you will also need to set up your 4-digit pin code. The PIN code is used to withdraw from ATMs and make balance inquiries.
Your digital card is always activated and can be used once your account has a positive balance.
If you don’t see the activation option or something isn’t working
If your card has arrived but you don’t see the Activate option in the app or Web App, or you get an error while activating:
- Make sure you’re signed in to the correct Lili account that the card was issued for.
- Double-check that you’re entering the correct expiration date and last four digits from the physical card.
- If it still doesn’t work, contact Lili Support from the app so we can help you activate your card.
Good to know
- Your Lili digital card details in the app can be used for online purchases, even while you’re waiting for your physical card to arrive.
- Once your physical card is activated, you can freeze or unfreeze it anytime from the Card section if you misplace it.
- For an even smoother checkout experience, you can add your card to your mobile wallet after it’s activated.
