As soon as you open a Lili account, we get started on personalizing your Lili Visa® Debit Card. You can begin using your account right away with your digital card, and your physical card will arrive shortly after by mail.
How long does it take to receive my physical card?
Your Lili Visa® Debit Card is mailed via standard USPS to the home address you provided during account opening.
- In most cases, your card arrives within 7–14 calendar days from the date your account is approved and your card is issued.
- Delivery times can be longer around holidays, during periods of postal delays, or if your address is difficult to service.
If your card has not arrived after 14 calendar days, see the “If your card is late” section below.
If you have a multi‑user account, each person with full access to the account will receive their own Lili Visa Debit Card at their personal address, following the same general delivery timeframe.
If your account has an associated business, the business name will be printed on your card (up to 21 characters).
Can I use my account before the physical card arrives?
Yes. While you wait for your physical card, you can use your digital card for online and mobile purchases.
From the Lili app you can:
- View your digital card details (card number, expiration date, CVV).
- Use your card online anywhere Visa debit is accepted.
- Add your card to supported mobile wallets (such as Apple Pay or Google Pay) for in‑person, contactless payments at compatible terminals, where available.
This means you can start using Lili for your business spending and subscriptions even before the physical card arrives in the mail.
If your card is late
If you have not received your Lili Visa Debit Card within 14 calendar days of opening your account or being notified that your card has shipped:
-
Confirm your mailing address
- Open the Lili app and verify that your home address is correct and complete (including apartment or unit number, if applicable).
-
Check for recent mail delays
- Postal service delays, holidays, and local conditions can sometimes extend delivery beyond the usual timeframe.
-
Contact Lili for help
- If everything looks correct and your card still has not arrived, contact us (see the options listed in How do I contact the Lili team?)
- Our team can review your account, confirm the status of your card, and re‑issue a new card if needed.
If a card is re‑issued, the new card will follow the same standard shipping timelines.
Replacement or additional cards
If you need a replacement card (for example, if your card was lost, stolen, or damaged) or if you are adding users to a multi‑user account:
- Replacement and additional physical cards are mailed via USPS to the cardholder’s address on file.
- These cards typically arrive within the same 7–14 calendar day timeframe once issued.
For step‑by‑step guidance on replacement or additional cards, see: Can I have multiple debit cards?
