How can we help?

How do I send a Bank Transfer (ACH) from my Lili account?

You can use Bank Transfer (ACH) to send money from your Lili account to a payee in the United States, including a vendor, employee, or other business or individual. ACH transfers can only be used to move funds within the United States.

If you want to transfer money to your own linked external bank account, please see How do I transfer funds between my Lili account and an external linked bank account?.

Before you start

Make sure you have the payee’s:

  • Full name or full business name
  • Account number
  • Routing number
  • Account type, if prompted

You’ll also need enough available balance in your Lili account to cover the transfer amount and any applicable fee. Both the transfer amount and the Express ACH fee, if selected, are deducted immediately from your Lili account balance.

Transfer timing and fees

  • Standard ACH is free of charge and typically arrives within 1–5 business days.
  • Express ACH costs 1.5% of the transaction amount, with a $0.50 minimum fee and a $20 maximum fee.
  • If an Express ACH request is submitted after 2:15 pm EST on a business day, it will be processed on the next business day and sent in the earliest same-day cutoff window available at the receiving bank. Even then, Express ACH is generally faster than Standard ACH.
  • ACH transfers do not process on weekends or banking holidays, and delivery timing may vary based on the receiving bank.

Security check

For ACH outbound transfers totaling $3,000 or more per day, Lili uses Two-Factor Authentication for added security. When initiating these transfers, you’ll receive a security code by SMS or phone call to verify your identity.

Important

  • Bank Transfer (ACH) is available only for payments within the United States.
  • If you need to send money outside the United States, use Lili’s international wire transfer option instead.
  • ACH limits may apply.
