How can we help?

When will I receive my ACH transfer (Direct Deposit)?

ACH transfers and direct deposits post to your Lili account as soon as they are received, and you'll get a push notification the moment funds arrive. Timing depends on when the payment was sent and by whom.

Incoming ACH & Direct Deposits

These are transfers initiated by an external payer โ€” such as a client, employer, or payment platform โ€” directly into your Lili account.

  • Funds are posted immediately upon receipt by Lili
  • Typical arrival: 1โ€“3 business days from when the payer initiates the transfer
  • If you've set up direct deposit, you may receive funds up to 2 days early โ€” before your scheduled pay date (availability not guaranteed)
  • ACH transfers do not process on weekends or federal banking holidays

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: If you haven't received your transfer, first check with the payer to confirm it was sent. If they confirm it was sent, ask them for the ACH trace ID, a 15-digit reference number, and contact Lili Support with that number so we can track it down quickly.

Transfers Between Lili and a Linked External Account

These are bank-to-bank transfers you initiate from the Lili app to or from a connected external account.

  • Incoming to Lili (you pull funds from an external account): 1โ€“5 business days
  • Outgoing from Lili (you push funds to an external account): settlement time depends on the receiving bank
  • Transfers only transmit once per business day and do not process on weekends or holidays
  • While a transfer is on hold, you'll see the expected clearance date displayed in the app

Payments from Stripe, Square, or Other Processors

If you're receiving payouts from a payment processor like Stripe or Square, funds appear in your Lili account as soon as they are received. Timing is controlled by the processor โ€” check your processor's payout settings for details.

Not Seeing Your Transfer?

If a payment isn't showing in the app as pending or on hold, it hasn't been sent yet by the payer. Here's how to resolve it:

  1. Contact the payer to confirm the transfer was initiated
  2. Request the ACH trace ID โ€” a 15-digit number generated for every ACH transfer
  3. Reach out to Lili Support with the trace ID, sender name, amount, and date sent
