How can we help?

Can I receive domestic wire transfers to my Lili Account?

Yes. Eligible Lili business customers can receive domestic wire transfers in USD to their Lili account. Domestic wires can be a fast way for clients and partners in the U.S. to send larger payments to your business.

Domestic wire transfer services are provided by our bank partner and are subject to eligibility, acceptance criteria, and risk‑based review.

Who can receive domestic wires?

Domestic wire reception is available for eligible Lili business accounts on supported plans (for example, Lili Smart and Lili Premium).

  • Availability may depend on your plan type, account history, and compliance review.
  • If you’re not sure whether your account is eligible to receive wires, check your plan’s feature list or contact us from the app under Menu > Help Center.

What information does my sender need?

To receive a domestic wire in USD to your Lili account, provide your sender with the instructions that can be found in the Lili app:

Navigate to the Main Menu. Select Add Money > Domestic Wire Transfer and choose "Download Wire Instructions". For your convenience, Lili will promptly send the instructions to your registered email address.

You can also find your routing and account numbers in the Lili mobile or web app under your account details (under the “Domestic wire transfer” section).

Important:

  • Ask your sender to send the payment as a domestic wire in USD to a U.S. bank, not as an international wire or ACH transfer.
  • Make sure your account name and account number are entered correctly to avoid delays or returns.
Note that the inbound domestic wire transfer routing number is different from the routing number used for ACH transfers. The wire transfer routing number is 121145307. Your account number is the same for all incoming transactions.

Domestic wires are generally faster than ACH transfers. While exact timing depends on the sending bank’s processing cut‑off and any intermediary banks, you can typically expect:

  • Wires sent within the U.S. to arrive the same business day or the next business day, if the sending bank processes the wire before its daily cut‑off time.
  • Wires are not processed on weekends or Federal Reserve holidays; wires sent after cut‑off or on a non‑business day will be processed on the next business day.

Once the wire is received and accepted, it will post to your Lili account balance and appear in your transaction history.

Fees and potential deductions

Lili currently does not charge a fee for incoming domestic wire. Lili’s updated treatment of incoming domestic wire transfers (including any incoming wire fee) is described in the account agreement.

Please keep in mind:

  • The sender’s bank may charge an outgoing wire fee.
  • Intermediary banks involved in the wire may deduct their own fees, which can reduce the final amount that reaches your Lili account.

If you have questions about specific wire fees charged to you as the receiver, review your plan details or contact us from the app.

If a domestic wire hasn’t arrived

If your sender says they initiated a domestic wire to your Lili account but you haven’t received it within the expected timeframe:

  1. Confirm the details with the sender
    • Ask them to verify the account name, Lili wire routing number, and account number they used.
    • Confirm that they sent the payment as a domestic USD wire to a U.S. bank (not as an international wire or ACH).
  2. Ask for a wire confirmation or reference
    • Request a copy of the wire confirmation or a tracking reference (for example, a Fed reference number or SWIFT/MT103 if their bank provides one).
  3. Check your Lili account
    • Review your recent transactions and statements for the expected date range.
  4. Contact the Lili team
    • If the details are correct and the sender can provide confirmation of the wire, contact us (see options listed in How do I contact the Lili team?) and share the wire date, amount, and any reference numbers so we can help review the incoming payment.

If the wire was returned by an intermediary or receiving bank due to incorrect or incomplete details, your sender should see that reflected on their side and will need to initiate a new wire with corrected information.
