How can we help?

Can I add someone who is not a business owner to my Lili account?

Yes. You can add trusted people who are not listed as business owners to your Lili account, such as an Admin or an Accountant. This lets you share access with the right people while staying in control of your business finances.

Who you can add

  • Other business owners – Owners who were added during onboarding so they can have full access to the account.
  • Admins – Trusted team members who help manage day‑to‑day finances, payments, and account settings.
  • Managers – Team members who support operations and spending, with more limited access than Admins based on your chosen permissions.
  • Accountants – External accounting partners who need secure view and export access only.

To understand exactly what each role can and cannot do (view, move money, manage cards, run reports, etc.), see: What roles and permissions are available to use for granting someone access to my account?

How to add a non‑owner user (Admin, Manager, or Accountant)

Follow these steps to add someone who is not a business owner to your Lili account:

  1. Sign in to your Lili account.
  2. Go to Account Settings.
  3. Open the Team section.
  4. Select + Invite a team member.
  5. Choose the user role you want to assign (for example, AdminManager, or Accountant), based on the access they need.
  6. Enter the person’s first namelast name, and email address.
  7. Review and agree to the required authorizations (such as the Corporate Resolution and Authorization to appoint a user).
  8. Select Send invite.

Important: Authorized users, including Admins, Managers, and Accountants, can access Lili through the Web App only, not the mobile app.

We’ll email the invitee with a secure link to create their own login and start using Lili.

Manage pending invites

After you send an invite, you can manage it from the Team section in Account Settings.

  1. Find the invited user with Pending status.
  2. Click the three‑dot menu.
  3. Choose one of these options:
    • Resend invite – Send a new invitation email to the user.
    • Copy invite URL – Copy the secure signup link so you can share it directly.
    • Cancel invite – Cancel the invitation so the link can no longer be used.

Once the invite is accepted, the user will move from Pending to Active.
