Yes. As a Lili Smart or Lili Premium customer, you can create and send an unlimited number of professional invoices from the Lili platform on both Web and Mobile. This helps your business keep receivables organized and get paid faster from one place.
What you can do with Lili invoicing
With Lili invoicing, you can:
- Create and send branded invoices to your business customers.
- Save invoices as drafts so you can complete or review them later before sending.
- Duplicate existing invoices to quickly bill repeat customers or similar projects, then adjust as needed.
- Manage reusable client lists so you do not need to re‑enter customer information every time.
- Manage reusable line items (like services or products) with preset descriptions and amounts, so you can build invoices faster and keep pricing consistent.
- Track invoice status so you can see which invoices are sent, paid, or still outstanding.
- Connect and manage supported payment options so your customers can pay you directly from the invoice, including which options appear as bank transfers or check instructions.
How to create a new invoice
To create a new invoice from the Lili Web App, follow these steps:
- Go to the Main Menu on the left side of your dashboard.
- Select Invoicing.
- Choose Create a New Invoice and fill in your customer details, line items, and due date.
- Save the invoice as a draft if you want to come back to it later, or send it when you are ready.
To create a new invoice from the Lili Mobile App:
- Open the Main Menu.
- Tap Invoicing.
- Tap Create a New Invoice and complete the invoice details.
- Send the invoice directly from your phone when you are ready.
To speed things up, you can:
- Select an existing client from your client list instead of re‑entering their details.
- Add preset line items for commonly billed products or services and adjust quantities or pricing as needed.
- Use Duplicate on a prior invoice to reuse the structure, then edit dates, line items, or amounts for the new billing cycle.
Once you review everything, send your invoice directly from Lili by email or share the secure link with your customer.
How customers can pay your invoices
Lili offers a payment solution that lets your customers pay your invoices using several common payment methods.
After you set up your preferred payment methods in the Lili platform, your invoices can support options such as:
- Credit or debit card payments (via Stripe integration; Stripe fees apply).
- Bank transfer (ACH) payments (via Stripe integration; Stripe fees apply).
- PayPal, Venmo, or Cash App (using the links you connect to your business accounts).
Here’s how these appear to your customers:
- When you enable Stripe (card and/or ACH), your customer will see a Pay Now button on the invoice. When they click Pay Now, a secure pop‑up opens with the Stripe payment options you selected (card, ACH, or both).
- Your payment details for check, ACH, or wire transfers (such as account and routing numbers or mailing address) are shown directly on the invoice itself. Customers can use those details to send a bank transfer or mail a check from their own bank or bill‑pay service.
This gives you control over which digital payment methods appear behind Pay Now, and which bank transfer or check details are displayed on the face of the invoice, so your customers can pay you in the way that fits their process best.
