Absolutely. Lili supports a mail-a-check service allowing customers to send a physical check, through Lili, to their payee.
To use this feature:
- sign in to the Web or Mobile App, go to Main Menu > Move Money or use the following link: Mail-A-Check
- select the payee from your contact list or create a new entry for the payee
- enter the amount to be paid
- add a memo, if needed (up to 50 characters)
- review the details of the check
- submit your request
There is a $3 fee per check. The amount of the check and the fee will be deducted from your Lili account once the check is printed.
Note: the check will expire in 180 days, if not cashed, and the funds will be returned to the account balance on the date of expiration.
How long will it take for the check to be delivered?
When using the mail-a-check feature, the check is sent through the United States Postal Service and can take up to 7-10 business days. A push notification and an email will be sent to the Lili account owner, once the check is printed and mailed to the payee.
What are the Mail-a-Check limits?
The current limits for the mail-a-check feature are $10,000 per check and $50,000 per month.
Is it possible to cancel a mail-a-check request?
Yes, a mail-a-check can be canceled at any time until it is cashed (or expires), by calling Lili's Customer Service team. If the cancellation takes place within 30 minutes of requesting the check, the funds will be refunded immediately to the customer’s account. If the cancellation takes place after 30 minutes, the customer’s Lili account will receive the refund within 3 business days of the cancellation.
