Can I delete a bill after it’s been created?

You can delete a bill from Bill Pay at any time. This article explains what happens when you delete a bill and how to do it from mobile and web.
 

What happens when you delete a bill

When you delete a bill:

  • The bill is removed from your Bill Pay list and will no longer appear in your unpaid or paid bills views.
  • It does not cancel or change any payments that have already been made from your Lili account.
  • All completed payments remain in your account activity and statements, so your records and audit trail stay accurate.

If you deleted a bill by mistake and still need to pay that vendor, you can create a new bill and send a new payment.

How to delete a bill 

Mobile app

  1. Log in to your Lili account.
  2. Tap Main Menu.
  3. Select Bill Pay to view your bills.
  4. Tap the bill you want to delete.
  5. Tap the menu icon in the top‑right corner and select Delete Bill.
  6. Confirm that you want to delete the bill.

Web app

  1. Log in to your Lili web platform.
  2. From the left navigation, select Bill Pay.
  3. Choose the relevant tab: Unpaid or Paid.
  4. Find the bill you want to remove and open the options menu (three dots).
  5. Select Delete Bill.
  6. Review the confirmation message, then click Delete to finish.

After you confirm, the bill is removed from your list. Any previous payments that you already sent to that vendor stay visible in your account activity.

Things to keep in mind

  • You can delete a bill at any time; this does not erase your past payment history.
  • Deleting a bill does not send, stop, or alter any payment—you always need to actively approve and send payments yourself.
  • In multi‑owner or multi‑user businesses, only users with the right Bill Pay permissions can delete bills
