Push notifications help you stay on top of what’s happening in your Lili account—like card transactions, deposits, important updates, and security alerts—even when you’re not in the app. You can manage most of your notifications directly from the Lili app and in your phone’s settings.
Where to manage your notifications
To review or update your notification settings in the Lili app:
- Open the Lili app on your mobile device.
- Go to Menu > Settings > Notifications (or Alerts & Notifications, depending on your app version).
- Use the toggle to turn notifications on or off.
Make sure notifications are also enabled in your phone’s system settings for the Lili app; if push is turned off at the device level, you won’t receive alerts even if they’re enabled inside the app.
Types of notifications you may receive
Depending on your account and plan, you may receive push notifications for:
- Account activity: New card transactions, deposits, and other key changes in your account.
- Balance and payments: Low‑balance alerts, payment status, and other money‑movement updates where available.
- Account & security: Sign‑in alerts, password or security changes, and other important messages we send to protect your account.
Why we recommend keeping push notifications on
Keeping push notifications enabled helps you:
- Spot unusual or unauthorized activity quickly so you can freeze your card or contact us if needed.
- Track important account events in real time (for example, when a mobile deposit is processed or when a scheduled payment goes out).
- Stay informed about key updates that may affect how you use your Lili account.
If you turn off notifications, you may not see these updates until you sign in to the app.
If you’re not receiving notifications
If you’ve turned notifications on in the Lili app but aren’t seeing them:
- Confirm that push notifications are allowed for the Lili app in your phone’s system settings.
- Check that your device has a stable internet connection and is not in “Do Not Disturb” or “Focus” mode.
- Make sure you’re running the latest version of the Lili app.
If notifications are enabled both on your device and in the Lili app and you’re still not receiving them, please contact the Lili team from the app (In the Web App: Choose “Chat” upon clicking on the "?" icon at the bottom-right ; On the Mobile App: Select “Chat with us” on the menu), or use the options listed in How do I contact the Lili team? so we can review your specific case.
