No. You can’t apply using only an EIN. Lili must verify you as an individual, so the owner’s SSN is always required.

Here’s how it works in practice:

• Sole proprietors apply with their SSN; an EIN is optional.
• LLCs, corporations, and partnerships provide both the owner’s SSN and the business EIN.

Your EIN helps us verify your business; your SSN helps us verify you and keep your account secure.
