How can we help?

How do I link payment apps like Venmo \ Cash App \ Paypal \ Convesio Pay to my Lili account?

You can connect your Lili account as a bank funding source in most payment apps (such as Venmo, Paypal, Cash App, Convesio Pay, and similar services) by using your Lili routing and account numbers. Once linked, you’ll be able to move money between your Lili account and these apps according to their rules, limits, and fees.

Where do I start: in Lili or in the payment app?

To link Lili to a payment app, you almost always start inside the payment app:

  • Open the payment app (for example, Venmo, Cash App, or PayPal).
  • Go to Settings or Payment Methods.
  • Choose Add bank account (or similar) and follow the app’s instructions.

You can also learn how to link Lili to a payment app in Lili's Web or Mobile App. To do so do the following:

  • Go to the Main Menu
  • Click on Integrations & Offers
  • Choose the relevant app and follow the directions

Some apps use Plaid (a secure third‑party service) to find and link your bank; others will ask for your routing and account numbers to set up the connection with small test deposits.

How to find your Lili routing and account numbers

You can find your Lili account details directly in your Lili app:

  • Open the Lili app.
  • Go to the Main Menu > Account Details (or tap your account name/balance).
  • Locate your routing number and account number, and copy them into the payment app when prompted.

If the payment app offers a search list of banks and you don’t see Lili as an option, choose the manual entry or link by account number option and enter your Lili routing and account numbers instead.

What happens after I link Lili?

Once your Lili account is linked in the payment app:

  • The app may send one or two small test deposits to your Lili account and ask you to confirm the amounts before the link is fully active.
  • After verification, your Lili account will appear as a bank funding source or linked bank in the payment app.
  • You’ll be able to:
    • Transfer money from Lili to the app (for example, to add funds to your wallet).
    • Transfer money from the app to Lili (for example, to cash out your app balance to your Lili account).

Transfers and limits are controlled by the payment app, not by Lili, so timing, limits, and fees may differ from standard bank transfers.

If you can’t connect or don’t see Lili

If you don’t see Lili in the list of banks, or the connection fails:

  • Use the manual bank account option in the payment app and enter your Lili routing and account numbers.
  • Make sure the name on your payment app profile matches the name on your Lili account; some apps won’t link if they detect a mismatch.
  • If the payment app says it can’t support your bank, you may still be able to move money by sending an ACH transfer from Lili or by having the app send funds to your Lili routing and account numbers as a direct deposit.

If you’ve followed the app’s instructions and still can’t connect your Lili account, contact the payment app’s support first (they control the linking experience), then reach out to the Lili team from the app (In the Web App: Choose “Chat” upon clicking on the "?" icon at the bottom-right ; On the Mobile App: Select “Chat with us” on the menu) if you need more help on the Lili side.
