    Lili follows applicable banking and payments regulations designed to protect your funds, including rules around error resolution, unauthorized transactions, and fraud investigation.
  • Dispute and fraud‑review processes
    If you see a transaction you don’t recognize, you can report it and our team will investigate in accordance with the timelines and protections described in your account agreement.

 

Your access: secure login and authentication

To keep your account access secure, Lili uses multiple layers of protection:

  • Unique login credentials
    You sign in with your email and a password that you create. We strongly recommend using a long, unique password and never reusing it on other services.
  • Two‑factor authentication (2FA)
    Lili enables two‑factor authentication for important actions and logins, typically via one‑time verification codes sent to your mobile device.
    This means that even if someone knows your password, they still need access to your phone or trusted device to sign in or complete certain actions.
  • Biometric authentication
    On supported devices, you can enable biometric login, such as fingerprint or facial recognition, as an additional layer of security for the mobile app.
  • New device and unusual‑activity checks
    When you sign in from a new device, new location, or we detect unusual behavior, we may require extra verification (for example, a one‑time code) before granting access.

    If you share access with team members or your accountant, you can control what each person can see and do using Roles & Permissions, reducing unnecessary access to sensitive actions.

Your behavior is a critical part of your account’s security. To help keep your money and information safe:

  • Use a strong, unique password for Lili and avoid reusing it on other websites or apps.
  • Turn on biometric login (when available) and keep your device screen locked.
  • Never share one‑time verification codes, passwords, or full card details with anyone, including anyone claiming to be from Lili.
