How can we help?

Does Lili provide a Form 1099-INT?

Yes. If you earn $10 or more in interest from your Lili accounts during a tax year, Lili will issue you a Form 1099‑INT. This form reports your interest income to the IRS and is used when you file your taxes.

When is a 1099‑INT issued?

  • You’ll receive a 1099‑INT if the total interest you earned across your eligible Lili accounts for the year is $10 or more, in line with IRS requirements.
  • In some cases, a 1099‑INT may also be issued if federal or foreign tax was withheld on your interest, even if the total interest is under $10.

If your total interest for the year is below the reporting threshold and no tax was withheld, you typically will not receive a 1099‑INT. You may still be required to report interest income on your tax return; please consult your tax advisor for guidance.

How and when will I receive my 1099‑INT?

Lili delivers 1099‑INT forms electronically through Track1099, a secure online portal. This method helps protect your information and makes it easy to access and download your forms.

  • You’ll receive an email from Track1099 with instructions on how to access your form once it is ready.
  • Forms are typically available by January 31 following the end of the tax year, in accordance with IRS deadlines, and no later than mid‑February if there are any processing delays.

Follow the instructions in the Track1099 email to view and download your 1099‑INT. In many cases, you can log back into Track1099 later if you need another copy.

What if I don’t see or receive a 1099‑INT?

You may not receive a 1099‑INT from Lili if:

  • Your total interest income from Lili for the tax year was less than $10 and no federal/foreign tax was withheld, or
  • Your account was not open/earning interest during that tax year.

If you believe you earned at least $10 in interest and have not received an email from Track1099 by mid‑February, please:

  1. Check the email address associated with your Lili account (including Spam/Junk folders).
  2. Search your inbox for “Track1099” or “1099‑INT.”
  3. If you still don’t see your form, contact the Lili team (see: How do I contact the Lili team?), using the contact details listed there, so we can review your specific case.

For help understanding how to use your 1099‑INT when filing your taxes, we recommend speaking with a qualified tax professional or reviewing the IRS instructions for Form 1099‑INT.
