How can we help?

How do I connect my Lili account with Quickbooks?

You can connect your Lili account with QuickBooks Online using Lili’s new push integration. With this connection, Lili pushes your transaction data directly into the QuickBooks account you choose, so you do not need to set up a separate bank connection from inside QuickBooks.

Connect using the new push integration

To connect your Lili account to QuickBooks using the new integration:

  1. Sign in to your Lili account.
  2. Open the QuickBooks integration flow from within the Lili app under "Integrations & Offers" on the main menu --> "Finance & Accounting Tools".
  3. When prompted, sign in to your QuickBooks Online account and approve the connection between Lili and QuickBooks.
  4. Choose which QuickBooks account you want Lili to push transactions into, such as your operating account or a designated clearing account.
  5. Confirm the mapping and complete the setup.

After setup, Lili will push your transaction data into the mapped QuickBooks account based on your integration settings.

Where to find your Lili transactions in QuickBooks

With the new push integration, your Lili transactions appear in the account register you mapped, not in the standard bank-feed view.

To view them in QuickBooks Online:

  1. Go to Accounting, then Chart of accounts.
  2. Find the account you mapped during setup.
  3. Select View register or Account history.

Your Lili transactions will appear in that register. They will not appear under Transactions, then Bank transactions, for new push connections.

If you already use the old method

If you previously connected Lili to QuickBooks from inside QuickBooks by searching for Lili and adding it as a bank, that older bank-feed connection may still continue to work for some existing customers. However, Lili is moving to the new push integration as the standard connection method going forward.

If you already sync your transactions using the old method and see an upgrade option in Lili, follow the flow inside the Lili app to move to the new push integration. After you upgrade, new Lili transactions will be pushed into the mapped account’s register using the new method.
