How can we help?

What is BusinessBuild?

BusinessBuild lets you connect your Lili account to Dun & Bradstreet (D&B), view your D&B business credit scores and ratings, receive alerts, apply for a Lili BusinessBuild Card, and have your BusinessBuild activity reported to D&B, which can impact your business credit profile over time.

What’s included with BusinessBuild?

24/7 credit profile monitoring
D&B Credit Insights accessible right from your Lili account. Track six key Dun & Bradstreet scores and ratings — including PAYDEX®, Delinquency Score, Failure Score, and D&B Rating — alongside your cash flow and expenses. Get real-time alerts the moment something changes, plus a clear view of what’s driving your score: payment history, credit utilization, and outstanding debts.

Two built-in tradelines
Your BusinessBuild monthy fee is a tradeline. The moment you enroll, your monthly plan payment starts reporting to Dun & Bradstreet - building business credit history with every on-time payment, before you ever swipe a card. Activate the BusinessBuild Card to add a second active tradeline - a secured business credit card with no interest, no annual fees, and no credit check. You set your own credit limit by allocating a refundable security deposit as collateral, and every card payment reports to D&B as a separate tradeline - turning everyday spend into a second line of credit history.

Credit training and education
Expert-led guidance to help you understand what shapes your credit profile and what to do about it. Includes a step-by-step eBook, a live D&B-led webinar, a focused mini-series covering the fundamentals every business owner needs to build and protect their credit, and more resources to support you along the way.

How do I access the BusinessBuild program?

There are two options:

  1. During onboarding, a customer may agree to BusinessBuild
  2. If the customer already has a Lili account, they can do the following:

    Web App:
Go to the Web App’s Main Menu > Business Credit option (using a desktop computer) and click on the right screen to receive a popup about this feature. The customer only needs to Agree and then they will have access to all the features of this package.

    Mobile App:
Go to the Mobile App’s Main Menu > Business Credit Score option to find the three steps: Enroll in BusinessBuild, Apply for BusinessBuild Card and Monitor your business credit profile. At the bottom, you'll also find your D-U-N-S Number. If it isn't correct, click on the 3 dots and choose "Not my DUNS number".

Once you agree, you’ll have access to all BusinessBuild features, including D&B Credit Insights, credit education, and the BusinessBuild Card application.

Is there a fee for BusinessBuild?

Yes. Under the current promotion:

  • Your first month is free.
  • The next three months are billed with a 40% discount.
  • After that, your Lili checking account is charged $30 per month.

The fee appears on your monthly statement as “BusinessBuild Fee.”

How does the BusinessBuild fee impact my business credit profile?

Your BusinessBuild program fee is reported to Dun & Bradstreet as a separate tradeline in your business credit profile.

  • Each month, the BusinessBuild fee is charged to your Lili checking account as “BusinessBuild Fee.”
  • This fee is reported to D&B as an ongoing payment relationship, similar to other trade accounts your business may have.
  • On‑time payment of your BusinessBuild fee can help demonstrate positive payment history and may support a stronger business credit profile with D&B.
  • Late or unpaid fees may be reported as negative payment information and can negatively impact your D&B scores and ratings.

By combining the BusinessBuild Card tradeline with the BusinessBuild fee tradeline, BusinessBuild can provide multiple data points that may impact your business credit profile over time.
