Through a partnership with Fundbox, Lili offers a flexible business line of credit to eligible customers. It gives your business access to working capital up to a set limit, so you can draw funds when you need them and pay only for what you use.
What is a line of credit?
A business line of credit works differently from a traditional term loan. Rather than receiving a lump sum upfront, you get access to a credit limit and can draw from it as your business needs arise — whether that's covering a short-term cash flow gap, managing payroll, or taking advantage of a time-sensitive opportunity. Interest and fees apply only to the amount you draw, not to your total limit.
Who is Fundbox?
Fundbox is a financial technology company that offers technology-driven credit solutions designed for business owners. Fundbox provides the underwriting, credit decisions, and terms for the line of credit. Lili integrates the Fundbox experience directly into the Lili web app, so you can apply and manage your credit line without leaving Lili.
Who is eligible?
The Fundbox Line of Credit with Lili is available to incorporated businesses. You may be eligible if:
- Your business is an LLC, C-Corp, S-Corp, General Partnership, or LLP.
- Your business is registered in the U.S. and all business owners are U.S. persons.
- You are an owner or admin user on your Lili business account.
- Your business has been operating for at least 3 months.
- Your business has at least $30,000 in revenue.
The following are not eligible:
- Sole proprietorships.
- Non-profit organizations.
- Businesses with non-U.S. owners.
If your business uses a different account to support its revenue history, you may be able to provide that information directly in the embedded Fundbox experience during the application flow.
Final approval, credit limit, pricing, and repayment terms are determined by Fundbox.
How do I apply?
You can start your application directly from the Lili web app:
- Sign in to your Lili account on the web
- Select Business Credit from the side menu
- Review the overview and required disclosures, then click Apply
- Lili securely submits your business and owner details to Fundbox for review
- A status screen will appear while Fundbox processes your application — this may take a few minutes
- Once ready, you'll be taken into the embedded Fundbox experience inside Lili to view your decision and, if approved, complete your application
You do not need a separate Fundbox account or login. Lili handles the connection automatically using secure single sign-on.
If there is a technical issue at any point, you'll see an error message and be returned to your dashboard. You can try again from the Business Credit menu.
How do draws and repayments work?
Once approved and activated, you can draw funds and make repayments through the embedded Fundbox experience within Lili.
- Draws — When Fundbox sends funds to your Lili account, the transaction will appear in your Lili transaction history as Fundbox Line of Credit Draw
- Repayments — When Fundbox collects a repayment from your Lili account via ACH, it will appear as Fundbox Line of Credit Payment
These labels make it easy to identify and reconcile line of credit activity in your transaction history.
What business information is shared with Fundbox?
To support your application and Fundbox's ongoing underwriting process, Lili shares relevant business and owner details with Fundbox. This includes data from your Lili business accounts linked to the applying business, such as:
- Checking, savings, and eligible sub-account balances
- Recent transaction history from those accounts
External accounts you have linked to Lili are not shared with Fundbox.
Important notes
- The Fundbox Line of Credit is currently available on Lili's web app. Mobile availability will follow at a later stage.
- Only owners and admin users on the Lili account can apply and manage the line of credit. Other users on the account will not see this option.
- Each business can submit one application. If your business has already applied, returning to Business Credit will take you directly to the embedded Fundbox experience to manage your account.
- If your business type is not eligible, Business Credit may not appear in your menu.
- If your business is also eligible to explore other financing options, a Lendio banner will appear at the bottom of this page. See What is Lendio Business Financing with Lili? for details.
