If you would like to add your DBA or Single-Member LLC name to your Lili account, you will need to provide Lili with documentation.
For a DBA, one of the following:
- DBA Registration Form
or - Fictitious Name Registration
or - Assumed Name Certificate
For an LLC, we need to receive your IRS EIN letter (see below an example of this document).
To upload the documents through the app, do the following:
- Go to the Main Menu
- Go to Settings
- Personal Details
- Under the Business Name, choose the Add option to add your business documentation
You must have the latest version of the Lili app on your device in order to add the business name.
You can also tap here when viewing from your mobile device and it will take you directly to the Add Business Name screen.
Once approved, you will be able to deposit checks and receive payments on behalf of your business.
Note: we only support DBA and single-owner LLCs at the moment. We can not support Partnerships, multi owner LLC or S-Corps.
Once your request is approved, you will receive a push message with the approval.
