Every transaction you do with your Lili card or your Lili account should be categorized. By swiping left or right on your expense tab, you need to first tag a transaction as a personal expense or a business expense. If it’s a personal expense, you’re done. But if it’s a business expense, it needs to be tagged with a subcategory (Travel, Office Expenses, Meals…) for your reports. There are some instances where Lili pre-selects the category for you, but if you’d like to change it, you can pick one that’s a better fit for that expense.
If, by mistake, you chose the wrong category, you can always update it by clicking on the specific transaction, in the Transactions page, and then click on the category to see the list of categories. From there, choose the new category that you want listed for the transaction.
The following is a list of Lili's plans and the transaction types that they can categorize:
Lili Plan | Categorized Transaction Types |
Lili Basic | No categorization available |
Lili Pro | Expense transactions only |
Lili Smart / Premium | Income and Expense transactions |
